Papertrey Ink July Blog Hop

I've been on a stamping roll lately! After the fun of Stamp-A-Faire I thought I'd challenge myself to keep the mojo rolling and participate in the July Blog Hop.

This is the inspirational photo, the colors of summer.

Nichole's post with this photo "as this wonderful season begins to come to a close " made me laugh out loud! I live in the only state of the lower 48 which has not yet experienced summer weather. We are anticipating sunshine and temperatures  in the low 70's this week; nothing makes me happier!

But I digress. For this Blog Hop, I chose to work with Peaceful Garden and Fillable Frames 10, both sets from PTI. I absolutely love Peaceful Garden and it's dies - great for making gender neutral cards.

  11. This turned out really sweet...I LOVE the delicate look of it! You asked about the ink on my felt flower...it was just from and ink pad applied with a cosmetic sponge. As I said in the post...it is an older flower...the ink was probably originally a little more dramatic, but not a lot. Thanks for your interest! Love your card!!

  12. Hi Steph. For someone who is summer-deprived, you certainly capture the feeling well. I love how the green line of leaves acts like a fence. The composition works gloriously.

I noticed that you blog about as often as I do - not that often. But when you make your creations, it's absolutely clear you pour your heart into them. Your cards are fabulous! You really make each one an exploration of techniques. I really enjoy your work. Thank you for taking the time to share!
