Make It Monday #166: Debossing Stamped Images

A quick post for this week's MIM. This is a pretty simple card as compared to my usual designs. I was trying to embrace all that white space, and finally am at peace with this card. (I channeled a couple of PTI designers I am fond of...)
I still had my Inchie Arts mat boards on my desk from my last post and decided to use one for this challenge. These lovelies deboss just beautifully. I think I will be using them more often, as their smooth surface lends to so many coloring mediums and techniques.
Supplies:
Papertrey Stamps and die: Feather Finery
Papertrey Inks: Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal
Versafine Onxy Black
Inchie Arts: 3" mat board
Card stock: Papertrey Ink, SSS Woodgrain
Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh

Avery Elle - AEI♥U Challenge #6 Mother’s Day!

I've not entered an Avery Elle challenge previously, and this was a lot of fun. I recently purchased the AE pigment inks (LOVE!) and used them almost exclusively on this card. The floral bouquet is stamped using a "ghost" technique, laying down a layer of Pure White, and over-stamped with Raspberry and Celery inks. I really like this effect. I didn't have a Mom stamp, so used a Silhouette cut file which I layered for a 3D effect. (If you are looking for my PTI MIM challenge card, it is here)

Supplies used:
Stamps: Avery Elle Thanks A Bunch, Handwritten Notes
Ink: Avery Elle pigment, Colorbox pigment (brown embossed "really")
Cardstock: all Papertrey Ink
White dots on Mom - Signo Uniball White
Diamond Stickles

Paperytrey Make It Monday #163: Envelope Wraps

Another Make It Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink. I made this card to send to a friend on the PTI forum who did something very nice for me awhile back. So decided to play along with this week's challenge and "fancy up" this envelope.  I used sticker paper so this should have no difficulty going through the postal machines...I hope! (The address was filled out before I took a photos, which is why it is covered up here - did't think she'd appreciate me publishing her home addy on the web :)

Supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink Make It Market Kit #1
White Adhesive Sheets - PTI
Stamps: Make It Market Kit #1, Gratitude Journal
Ink: Delicate Gold, Colorbox pigment ink, Papertrey Ink Dye Inks
Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh
Dies: Notched Hearts Banner Die
Yellow Stickles

More Botanical Silhouettes

I made this card while I had Botanical Silhouettes out for my last card. I sent this to a friend who lost her young son three months ago in a motorcycle crash. Even though she is trying to return to her new "normal" I know she remains in great pain from which she will never fully recover. I try to send her a little something every few weeks just to let her know I am thinking of her.

All products are from Papertrey Ink.
